What the contact form records.
This site has one form. It stores what you type so we can read it and reply. This page says what is kept and why.
What we store
When you send the contact form we keep your name, your email address, the topic and the site you picked, and your message. With it we keep the date and time you sent it, the IP address the message came from, and the full user agent string your browser sends, which describes the browser, its version and your operating system.
Why the IP address
The IP address blocks spam. At most five messages from one address are accepted in ten minutes. A hidden field does the same job, and when the anti-spam challenge is enabled, Cloudflare checks the form before it reaches us.
Where the message goes
The message is saved to a file on our server first, then emailed to us. Saving it first means a mail outage never loses a message. The email carries the same details as the file.
What we do with it
We read the message and we reply. We do not sell it or hand it to anyone else, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics of its own. When the anti-spam challenge is enabled, Cloudflare sets one cookie to remember that you passed it.
